Summary
CVE-2024-0237 is a vulnerability affecting versions 4.5.8 and below of the EventON WordPress plugin, as well as versions before 2.2.7. This issue allows unauthenticated users to manipulate virtual event settings through unauthorized access in certain AJAX actions. The affected parameters include meeting URLs, moderator roles, and access details, posing a significant risk to the security of virtual events hosted on vulnerable WordPress sites. Users are encouraged to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.
