Summary
CVE-2024-0221 is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting the Photo Gallery by 10Web plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the rename_item function and allows authenticated attackers to rename arbitrary files on the server. If the wp-config.php file is targeted, site takeovers can occur. By default, this vulnerability can be exploited by administrators, but in the premium version, lower-level users with gallery management permissions can also be potential attackers.
