Summary

CVE-2024-0220 is a vulnerability that affects B&R Automation Studio Upgrade Service and B&R Technology Guarding products. These products use insufficient cryptography for communication to the upgrade and licensing servers, making them vulnerable to exploitation by a network-based attacker. This vulnerability could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected products or intercept sensitive data. The affected versions of B&R Automation Studio are less than 4.6, and Technology Guarding versions are less than 1.4.0.
