Summary

CVE-2023-7069 is a vulnerability that affects the Advanced iFrame plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages using the plugin's 'advanced_iframe' shortcode. The vulnerability is present in all versions of the plugin up to and including 2023.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that the injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update to a version of the plugin that includes a fix for this issue.
