Summary

CVE-2023-7044 is a vulnerability in the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 5.9.2. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, resulting in stored cross-site scripting (XSS). The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it allows attackers to execute malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
