Summary

CVE-2023-7033 is an Insufficient Resource Pool vulnerability affecting the Ethernet function of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation MELSEC iQ-F Series CPU modules. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to perform a TCP SYN Flood attack, causing a temporary Denial of Service (DoS) condition in the Ethernet communication of the affected products for a certain period of time. The vulnerability has a base severity score of 5.3 and is rated as medium risk. It does not require any privileges or user interaction to be exploited and has a low attack complexity.
