Summary

CVE-2023-7027 is a vulnerability found in the POST SMTP Mailer – Email log, Delivery Failure Notifications and Best Mail SMTP for WordPress plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting by exploiting the 'device' header. This can lead to the injection of arbitrary web scripts on pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The affected versions include all versions up to and including 2.8.7. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update to a version that includes the necessary input sanitization and output escaping measures.
