Summary
CVE-2023-6989 is a local file inclusion vulnerability affecting the Shield Security plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 18.5.9 are susceptible to this issue. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the render_action_template parameter to include and execute PHP files on the server. This allows the attacker to run any PHP code present in the included files, posing a significant security risk.
