Summary
CVE-2023-6988 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.0.239, arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the extend_builder_render_js shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or above can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
