Summary

CVE-2023-6985 is a vulnerability affecting the 10Web AI Assistant, which is an AI content writing assistant plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to install arbitrary plugins, potentially leading to unauthorized modification of data on compromised sites. The affected versions of the plugin range up to and including 1.0.18. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update to the latest version of the plugin as soon as possible. This vulnerability poses a medium-level danger to organizations as it could enable attackers to gain further access and control over compromised websites.
