Summary

CVE-2023-6954 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Download Manager Pro plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.2.85, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's shortcodes. Consequently, every time a user accesses an injected page, the injected scripts will execute.
