Summary

CVE-2023-6942 is a critical vulnerability affecting multiple Mitsubishi Electric Corporation products, including EZSocket versions 3.0 and later, FR Configurator2, GT Designer3, MELSOFT Navigator, MT Works2, MX Component, and MX OPC Server DA/UA. An attacker can exploit this Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability by sending specially crafted packets without authentication, allowing them to connect illegally to these products. This issue poses a significant risk as it enables unauthenticated remote access, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized system modifications, or denial-of-service attacks.
