Details
Summary
CVE-2023-6934 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin for WordPress. This issue exists in all versions up to and including 2.25.26 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's shortcodes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This can lead to unintended functionality, unauthorized access, or data theft. Users are advised to update the plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
