Summary
CVE-2023-6847 is an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server since 3.9. An attacker with network access to the Enterprise Server appliance in Private Mode could exploit this issue by making a specially crafted API request, bypassing the intended Private Mode protection. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program and has been resolved in versions 3.9.7, 3.10.4, and 3.11.1.
