Details
Summary
CVE-2023-6828: The ARForms Form Builder plugin for WordPress, used in Contact Forms, Surveys, and Popup Forms, is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to insufficient sanitization and output escaping of the 'arf_http_referrer_url' parameter. This vulnerability, affecting versions up to 1.5.8, allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts that execute when users access injected pages. This poses a significant risk, as successful exploitation can lead to data theft, unauthorized account access, and other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update their ARForms plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
