Summary
CVE-2023-6808 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0.93 are vulnerable, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's shortcodes.
