Summary

CVE-2023-6782 is a vulnerability that affects the AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages using the plugin's shortcode(s). This can lead to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. The vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.0.92 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is a medium severity, with a base score of 6.4 according to CVSS:3.1.
