Summary

CVE-2023-6557 is a vulnerability affecting The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress. In versions up to 6.2.8.2, an unauthenticated attacker can exploit the route function hooked into wp_ajax_nopriv_tribe_dropdown. This weakness allows the extraction of sensitive information, including post titles and IDs, for pending, private, and draft posts. The exposure of such data poses a significant risk to the confidentiality and integrity of WordPress sites using this plugin. It is strongly recommended that users update to the latest version of The Events Calendar plugin to mitigate this vulnerability.
