Summary
CVE-2023-6538 is a vulnerability affecting SMU (SonicWall MySQL Utility) versions before 14.8.7825.01. This issue permits authenticated users in Storage, Server, or combined Server+Storage administrative roles to gain unintended access to SMU configuration backups. Normally, these administrative roles are barred from accessing such information. The vulnerability can be exploited through URL manipulation, potentially leading to sensitive data disclosure.
