Summary
CVE-2023-6504 is a vulnerability affecting the User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress. In versions up to 3.10.7, the wppb_toolbox_usermeta_handler function contains a missing capability check. This issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to gain unauthorized access to sensitive user metadata. The flaw puts at risk the privacy and security of WordPress sites utilizing the User Profile Builder plugin. Upgrading to the latest version is recommended to mitigate the vulnerability.
