Summary

CVE-2023-6272 is a vulnerability affecting the Theme My Login 2FA WordPress plugin before version 1.2. This vulnerability allows an attacker to brute-force all possibilities of 2FA validation attempts, as there is no rate limiting in place. The 2FA codes are only 6 digits long, making it easier for an attacker to successfully guess them. This vulnerability has a base severity rating of CRITICAL and a base score of 9.8 out of 10 according to the NVD. It poses a high risk to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized access and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
