CVE-2023-5815 is a vulnerability in the News & Blog Designer Pack – WordPress Blog Plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 3.4.1. The vulnerability allows for Remote Code Execution via Local File Inclusion when the bdp_get_more_post function is hooked via a nopriv AJAX. This is due to the plugin using an unsafe extract() method, which enables unauthenticated attackers to include arbitrary PHP files and achieve remote code execution. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH, with a CVSS vector string of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H.
