Summary

CVE-2023-5712 is a vulnerability affecting the System Dashboard plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to access sensitive global value information. The vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including 2.8.7, and it is caused by a missing capability check on the sd_global_value() function hooked via an AJAX action.
