Summary

CVE-2023-5706 is a vulnerability that affects the VK Blocks plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 1.63.0.1. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, leading to stored cross-site scripting attacks. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. The affected products include various versions of WordPress plugins (rzUO1a, rzUO1Y, rzUO1e, etc.). Organizations can remediate this vulnerability by updating the VK Blocks plugin to a version that is not affected.
