CVE-2023-5705 is a vulnerability affecting the VK Filter Search plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 2.3.1 of the plugin due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. It has a base severity rating of MEDIUM with a base score of 6.4 according to CVSS version 3.1.
