Summary

CVE-2023-5660 is a vulnerability affecting the SendPress Newsletters plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through the plugin's shortcode(s) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This means that authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions can inject arbitrary web scripts, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.22.3.31.
