Summary
CVE-2023-5639 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Team Showcase plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the 'tmfshortcode' shortcode. Consequently, attackers can execute malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
