Summary

CVE-2023-5602 is a vulnerability found in the Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 2.8.5. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to perform Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks by tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link. The vulnerability arises due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on several AJAX actions.
