Summary
CVE-2023-5594 is a vulnerability affecting secure traffic scanning features that involves an improper verification of the server's certificate chain. Specifically, the flaw allows intermediate certificates signed using outdated hash algorithms MD5 or SHA1 to be considered trusted. This weakness could potentially enable man-in-the-middle attacks, compromising sensitive data exchanged between the affected system and the vulnerable server.
