Summary
CVE-2023-5564 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the froxlor web hosting control panel, specifically versions prior to 2.1.0-dev1. An attacker could exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a GitHub repository's readme file, which would be then rendered in a user's browser when they visit the affected page. Successful exploitation may allow the attacker to steal sensitive information, including session tokens or login credentials, or even take control of the user's account.
