Summary
CVE-2023-5544 is a vulnerability affecting wiki comment functionality. The issue stems from insufficient sanitization and access restrictions, leaving room for attackers to execute stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Additionally, there is a potential risk of Information Disclosure through Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR). By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can inject malicious scripts into comment sections, which can then be executed in the browser of unsuspecting users, leading to data theft or system takeover.
