Summary

CVE-2023-5530 is a vulnerability found in the Ninja Forms Contact Form WordPress plugin before version 3.6.34. It allows high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks by not sanitizing and escaping its label fields. Only users with the unfiltered_html capability can exploit this vulnerability, but they are already allowed to use JavaScript in posts or comments. The vendor has acknowledged and fixed the issue.
