Summary
CVE-2023-5444 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting ePolicy Orchestrator versions prior to 5.10.0 CP1 Update 2. This issue allows a low privilege remote user to add a new user with administrator privileges to the ePO server through the dashboard area of the user interface. The exploitation requires manipulating the HTTP payload during submission before it reaches the ePO server. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it enables unauthorized users to gain elevated access to the system.
