Summary

CVE-2023-5421 is a vulnerability that affects OTRS versions 7.0.X before 7.0.47, 8.0.X before 8.0.37, and ((OTRS)) Community Edition versions 6.0.X through 6.0.34. It allows an attacker logged into OTRS with privileges to manipulate the CustomerID field and execute JavaScript code upon saving customer user data, as long as the configuration for AdminCustomerUser::UseAutoComplete was changed prior to the attack.
