Summary

CVE-2023-5408 is a privilege escalation vulnerability found in the node restriction admission plugin of the Kubernetes API server in OpenShift. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to modify the node role label, redirect workloads from control plane and etcd nodes to different worker nodes, and gain broader access to the cluster. The affected products include vd8uoh, tVhU5m, r_8Qio, r_8Qin, r_8Qim, and r_8Qil.
