Summary

CVE-2023-5386 is a vulnerability found in the Funnelforms Free plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 3.4. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or higher to delete arbitrary posts, including administrator posts and those unrelated to the Funnelforms Free plugin. The missing capability check on the fnsf_delete_posts function is responsible for this unauthorized modification of data. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their Funnelforms Free plugin to a version beyond 3.4.
