Summary

CVE-2023-5379 is a vulnerability found in Undertow, affecting JBoss EAP and mod_cluster in httpd. The flaw allows a malicious user to send AJP requests that exceed the max-header-size attribute, causing JBoss EAP to close the TCP connection without returning a response. This can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by repeatedly sending such requests. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH, with an exploitability score of 3.9 out of 10.
