Summary

CVE-2023-5362 is a vulnerability that affects the Carousel, Recent Post Slider, and Banner Slider plugin for WordPress up to version 2.0. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages.
