Summary

CVE-2023-5234 is a vulnerability found in the Related Products for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 3.3.15. It allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'woo-related' shortcode, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. These injected scripts can be executed whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability has a base severity of MEDIUM, with low privileges required and user interaction required. The impact score is 2.7 out of 10, indicating a moderate risk level.
