Summary

CVE-2023-5233 is a vulnerability found in the Font Awesome Integration plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 5.0. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts using the 'fawesome' shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes make it possible for these scripts to execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
