Summary

CVE-2023-51743 is a vulnerability that affects Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24. It exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input for the Set Upstream Channel ID (UCID) parameter at its web interface. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker by supplying specially crafted input to the parameter on the vulnerable system's web interface. The successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack on the targeted system. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their router firmware to a version that includes a fix for the issue.
