Summary
CVE-2023-51742 is a vulnerability affecting the Skyworth Router CM5100, specifically version 4.1.1.24. This issue stems from insufficient input validation for the Add Downstream Frequency parameter at the device's web interface. Malicious actors can leverage this flaw to launch a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by sending crafted input to the targeted system's web interface. Successfully exploiting this vulnerability allows the attacker to disrupt the normal functioning of the router.
