Summary
CVE-2023-51738 is a vulnerability affecting Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24. The issue arises from inadequate input validation for the Network Name (SSID) parameter in the web interface. An attacker can exploit this weakness by supplying maliciously crafted input, potentially leading to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks on the targeted system. Successful exploitation could result in unintended execution of malicious scripts within the web interface of the vulnerable device.
