Summary
CVE-2023-51729 is a vulnerability affecting Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24. The issue stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied input for the DDNS Username parameter at the web interface. A remote attacker can leverage this flaw by submitting maliciously crafted input to the vulnerable system's web interface. Upon successful exploitation, the attacker could carry out stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks on the targeted system.
