Summary

CVE-2023-51724 is a vulnerability that exists in Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24. It is caused by insufficient validation of user supplied input for the URL parameter at its web interface. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker who supplies specially crafted input to the parameter on the targeted system's web interface. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to perform stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks on the targeted system. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as MEDIUM with a base score of 5.4 according to NIST's National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
