Summary

CVE-2023-51699 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Fluid open-source Kubernetes-native Distributed Dataset Orchestrator. It lies in the JuicefsRuntime component of the project and allows authenticated users with the appropriate K8s CRD Dataset/JuicefsRuntime creation or update permissions to inject OS commands. Consequently, attackers can potentially gain unauthorized access, modify, or delete data within juicefs related containers.
