Summary

CVE-2023-51698 is a critical Command Injection Vulnerability affecting Atril, a multi-page document viewer. This vulnerability allows attackers to gain immediate access to the target system by tricking the user into opening a crafted document or clicking on a crafted link/URL containing a maliciously crafted CBT document. The affected products include multiple versions of Atril. The vulnerability can be remediated by applying the available patch at commit ce41df6.
