Summary
CVE-2023-5168 is a vulnerability that impacts Firefox on Windows, allowing a compromised content process to supply malicious data to `FilterNodeD2D1`. This results in an out-of-bounds write, potentially triggering a crash in a privileged process. Notably, this issue does not affect Firefox or other operating systems beyond Windows. The vulnerability affects Firefox versions below 118, Firefox ESR below 115.3, and Thunderbird below 115.3.
