Summary

CVE-2023-5164 is a vulnerability in the Bellows Accordion Menu plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 1.4.2. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages using shortcodes, leading to stored cross-site scripting (XSS). This can result in the execution of malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, with a base severity of MEDIUM.
