Summary

CVE-2023-5161 is a vulnerability found in the Modal Window plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 5.3.5. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages using shortcodes, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
